Frequently asked questions

Drug tests, dosage, certificates of analysis, legality, and shipping — answered plainly, without hedging.

Will CBD show up on a drug test?

Drug tests look for THC metabolites, not CBD. Full-spectrum products contain trace THC (up to 0.3% by dry weight) that can accumulate with daily use and trigger a positive result. If you are tested, choose a broad-spectrum or isolate product with a COA showing non-detectable THC.

How long before I feel anything?

Tinctures held under the tongue typically act in 15–45 minutes. Capsules and gummies take 45–90 minutes because they pass through digestion. Topicals work locally within about 30 minutes. For sleep or daily comfort goals, judge results over two weeks rather than one dose.

What dose should I start with?

Most adults start at 10–15 mg once daily, hold for three to four days, then increase by 5–10 mg until they notice the effect they wanted. Older adults and anyone taking several medications should start lower.

What is a COA and how do I read one?

A certificate of analysis is an independent lab report for a specific batch. Check that the batch number matches your label, that potency is close to what the label claims, and that the pesticide, heavy metal, residual solvent, and microbial panels all read pass.

Is CBD legal in Missouri?

Hemp-derived products containing no more than 0.3% delta-9 THC by dry weight are federally legal under the 2018 Farm Bill, and Missouri follows that threshold. Rules for intoxicating hemp derivatives continue to change, so check current state guidance for those specific products.

Can I take CBD with my prescriptions?

Sometimes, but it needs review. CBD inhibits liver enzymes (CYP3A4 and CYP2C19) that metabolize many common drugs. If a medication carries a grapefruit warning, treat CBD with the same caution and talk to your pharmacist first.

How should I store it, and how long does it last?

Store upright, away from heat and direct light. Most tinctures stay potent for 12–24 months unopened, and about a year after opening. Cloudiness in cold weather is normal; a sharp rancid smell is not.

Is CBD safe for my dog or cat?

CBD formulated for pets, with no THC, is widely used for older dogs. Dose by body weight, start at the low end, and never give a human full-spectrum product to a pet — THC is genuinely dangerous for dogs. Check with your veterinarian first, especially for cats.

How fast do orders ship?

Orders placed before 2pm Central on a business day ship the same day from Missouri. You'll get tracking by email as soon as the label is created.

What if a product doesn't work for me?

Contact support within 30 days. We'd rather help you adjust format, dose, or timing first — most disappointing results come from too little, too briefly — but if it still isn't right, we'll make it right.
